What Makes Me an ACL and Return-to-Sport Specialist?
For over 8 years, I have been passionate about improving ACL rehab and the return to sport process.
Over these years, I have worked in sports performance centers where I focused predominantly on athletes recovering from ACL reconstruction. I have also spent much of my free time analyzing movement, data, and programming to better improve my treatments. I’ve devoted countless hours on fields and courts, ensuring athletes return to sport in the safest possible way.
Unfortunately, the current system often falls short for athletes recovering from ACL injuries. Statistics show that between one-third and one-fourth of athletes who return to their sport suffer a second ACL injury. I believe this high re-injury rate stems from inadequate care. Many physical therapists treat a broad range of patients, which can mean less focused expertise for ACL rehab. While a generalist approach may work for some, athletes in need of ACL rehab benefit most from a specialized approach. A jack of all trades is a master of none, especially when it comes to the complexity of returning to high-level performance.
My experience, focus, and commitment to refining my craft allow me to help athletes safely and confidently get back to doing what they love. I am committed to continually growing my expertise to provide the best possible outcome for athletes like you.
